Antonia Cianfrani, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, she/her
Antonia Cianfrani is a board certified, registered art therapist and licensed professional counselor. Since 2015, she has been providing recovery-oriented treatment for a wide variety of disorders and diverse populations of children, adolescents, and adults utilizing art therapy techniques tailored to the client. Her approach to art therapy is infused with elements from evidenced-based interventions, behavioral, cognitive, and psychodynamic therapies. Antonia has extensive experience in inpatient psych and in 2019 decided to branch out into private practice. Antonia identifies as a white, cis female therapist, ally, and anti-racist who provides a safe and non-discriminatory space for all genders, races, and LGBTQIA+ populations. Antonia provides individual art therapy sessions to children, adolescents and adults in person and via telehealth. At Drexel University, Antonia teaches Group Supervision I, II, III and Professional Identity and Contemporary Practices as an adjunct faculty member in the Art Therapy and Counseling Program. In addition to being an art therapist, Antonia is a working ceramic and portraiture artist. She is passionate about maintaining a balance between her artist and art therapist identity and is always looking for interesting ways they can intersect, educate and transform another.
